Everost is flourishing!

Welcome to Everost!

As January 2016 arrived it gave me inspiration to look back at my over 20 years of designing and manufacturing implants and systems exclusively for veterinary orthopedics. I remember the first time I entered an OR and/or an exhibit hall. I was by far the youngest business owner there at the young age of 23. I was nervous, uneasy, lacked confidence and hoped for the best. Today as I enter the OR/exhibit hall I am on the other side of the spectrum at 44 years old. Over the years I have designed hundreds of products, hold many patents, trained thousands of doctors, started and sold a few companies and the one thing that hasnít changed is my dedication to you, the customer, and the industry as a whole.

Everost is now officially entering itís second year of business in the USA (4 years total with the first 2 in the UK). When I look at the same time point during my Securos years, it is always interesting to see how I compare. The two companies are much different due to the technology available, procedures being preformed and the size of the market. However, it is still nice to say that Everost has achieved more in two years than I was able to do in 10 years with Securos!

I also ask HOW? Really it comes back to experience, understanding the market, the surgeons I work with, your trust and purely being dedicated. Our products have been tested both clinically and mechanically by world renowned surgeons. They have been presented and published in the leading journals and we have never been more focused on innovation.

As I continue my journey in veterinary orthopedics, I promise you I will stay dedicated to this market with hopes to provide better outcomes for your patients. I also promise to continue to produce products from certified materials, maintain our ISO quality system, only use FDA/ISO approved manufacturing facilities in the USA, England and Germany and always provide dedicated customer service.

Our success comes from the many years of doing right by our customers, so I thank you for all the support in the past and look forward to your support in 2016.

Sincerely,

Welcome to Everost!

February 25, 2014

A new era starts today.

Welcome to Everost!

Today marks the first day that I am able to interact with and introduce the veterinary community to the innovations that I have been working on since my unpredicted exit from the company I founded, grew and nourished for 17 years.

Two years ago, I found myself in a legal battle with the company that acquired my business in 2007. This occurred after leading the company, under their ownership, through a recession, creating and patenting many new products, opening offices in many new markets, training over 1200 veterinarians/year and growing the company over 400%. Although a great distraction both financially and professionally, I persevered. There were many times when I thought I should just find something else to do but I couldnít walk away from the market, my colleagues and my friends that brought me such joy. I had to fight, get past their non-compete restrictions and get to work for the future! I donít think anything could have kept me away from doing what I am so passionate about and I am happy to say ďI am back!Ē

I am back and very excited about what the future holds! My promise, to you, is to push innovation to unseen levels; push material science so that we can have implants that perform a function than bioabsorb; create new systems for TPLO and TTA so that we have better outcomes; get back to work on a CCL replacement system to solve the problem vs. adjusting the anatomy; create new and innovative instrumentation for arthroscopy so we have the right tools for our patients; spend more time working on the problems with the canine elbow and most importantly reacquaint myself with all of you, the people that inspire me to be better and work hard towards better outcomes in veterinary orthopedics.

Although I have earned your business in the past, I look forward to earning it again. My passion for veterinary orthopedics is greater than ever!

Sincerely,
